Mordecai and Abigayil

These are stories that came originally from a fictional account based on the story of the paralytic in Mark 2.

What must it have been like to be lowered through a roof landing at the Savior’s feet? What was it like to run the first time? For Mordecai was born anew, and his joy knew no bounds.

His wife, Abigayil, was less than happy with her husband’s healing. As a cripple herself, she knew disappointment, and fear. She was worried her now-healthy, handsome, and strong husband would seek another. This in spite of his assurances to the contrary.

The Bible’s stories are about real people living real lives. This is one account of the lives touched by Christ that day, as he told Mordecai “stand up and walk.”
